Mia Villavicencio-Eschinger

Government Relations

Mia’s passion and a wide range of policy and research experience make her a perfect fit as a research associate at Subject Matter. In her role, she supports the government relations team with research, writing and fundraising efforts for a variety of clients. Prior to Subject Matter, Mia interned in both houses of Congress, for her Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro of Connecticut and Sen. Sherrod Brown of Ohio. She researched veterans’ issues, immigration, human rights and housing, working closely with caseworkers and constituents. Mia has also worked as an organizing fellow for Sen. Chris Murphy’s “Fight Back Connecticut” campaign and Sen. Ted Kennedy Jr.’s campaign for Connecticut Legislature.
