It’s rare that you meet someone these days who has spent their full professional career at one organization, but that’s exactly what Joy has done. Joy has been with Subject Matter for more than 15 years, starting a week after she graduated from college in 2006. Joy started as an operations coordinator handling project logistics and has moved up the ranks throughout her tenure. For several years, Joy led the broadcast media division, executing satellite and radio media tours for clients across the nonprofit, for-profit and government agency landscape. Joy is now a Senior Vice President, providing strategic oversight across several client accounts in addition to managing live and virtual event productions and contributing to the agency’s media and presentation training services.

Joy has also overseen the development of the agency’s in-house production studio. In 2020, she managed the launch of Subject Matter’s virtual event offering, setting up the agency to quickly become a resource for clients who had to take their in-person events virtual during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, the agency has managed dozens of virtual events for clients, from one-hour productions to multi-day conferences.
