Joon was variously employed as a mechanic, a journalist and a cook before he found a calling that led him to do what he does best: tell stories. He creates crisp, strong copy for clients including AAR, McDonald’s, Buckle Up for Life and NACHA. Before joining Subject Matter, Joon spent eight years copywriting for creative agencies such as Barber Martin in Richmond and MGH in Baltimore. Joon’s previous work helped brands like HCA, Mayo Clinic, nTelos, Southern States and the SPCA create inspiring narratives they could truly call their own.
