Jimmy Ryan

Partner & Co-Founder

Jimmy has more than 15 years of experience working in the government and federal affairs arena. His first exposure to Capitol Hill, while in law school, was on the Senate Judiciary Committee, and later with then-Chairman Chuck Schumer’s House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Criminal Justice. Jimmy rose to the position of chief counsel and floor policy director for Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada, then the assistant Democratic leader and whip. Working for the Democratic whip, Jimmy was responsible for developing and coordinating the Democrats’ day-to-day Senate floor operations, managing whip counts on key votes, and advising other Democratic senators on Senate floor strategy and procedure. That experience proved invaluable at Citigroup, where he was a senior vice president and co-head for federal government affairs. Jimmy continues to use his broad experience to navigate complex legislative and regulatory issues on behalf of the nation’s leading businesses, and his deep expertise in developing meaningful public policy solutions is invaluable to our clients.
