As an avid reader and writer, Elizabeth loves storytelling. She puts that passion to work every day for Subject Matter’s clients, drafting op-eds, blog posts and policy documents. Elizabeth has a particular knack for explaining concepts in simple terms and loves helping clients figure out how all the pieces of a communications campaign can work together. Prior to joining Subject Matter, Elizabeth worked at the White House Writers Group, where she focused on third-party outreach and coalition building. She was also a reporter for The Orange County Register and an editorial fellow at USA TODAY. Elizabeth writes a popular book recommendation newsletter, What To Read If, and has contributed to Parade, Slate, Time and USA TODAY, among other publications.
