Alena’s 10+ years of digital and social media expertise spans a wide variety of industries, including technology, energy, CPG, travel/tourism, education, political, public policy and issue advocacy. She is skilled in developing sound strategies that bring quantifiable engagement and results to clients through multi-layered digital and social media communications strategies. Alena began her career as a traditional and digital media planner at a few creative agencies before transitioning to digital director at Smart Media Group, where she led the digital effort in the 2012 election cycle. From there, she moved to BCW (formerly Burson Masteller) where she focused on paid digital outreach for clients. Most recently, Alena led the digital strategy team at DCI Group, which specializes in public relations, crisis management, grassroots engagement and digital advocacy for public policy-focused clients.
