Meet Eman Quotah, Our New Staff Novelist
Quotah, a senior director at Subject Matter, published Bride of the Sea earlier this year
Subject Matter congratulates our own Eman Quotah on the publication of her debut novel Bride of the Sea. Eman is a Subject Matter senior director and a member of our content team. Her book is a wonderful family story that will keep you interested from the first page. And while we highly recommend it to your reading list, you don’t have to take our word for it. The Washington Post called Bride of the Sea, “an engrossing debut novel” that offers “Americans a more nuanced view of the Saudi kingdom through a cast of compelling characters and a sweeping plot that spans continents and decades.”
We’re not sure when Eman found the time. “Like most novelists, I have a day job. I’m lucky to be able to say that at mine, everyone is truly supportive of my artistic ambitions,” Quotah said.
All we know is we’re all better off because of her effort. And we’re extremely proud to call her our own.
