Executive Assistant – Government Relations

SUBJECT MATTER is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant to the founding partners of our Government Relations practice, representing Fortune 100 companies, trade associations, and non-profit organizations.

• Manage the appointment calendars of two of the founding partners
• Maintain processes and systems for scheduling time with the two of the founding partners
• Field calls from clients, Hill/Administration staff, press and others
• Track client deliverables and ensure completion
• Reserve travel arrangements for two of the founding partners
• Manage the expense reporting for two of the founding partners
• Draft correspondence and emails
• Perform research as required
• Assist with fundraising events and legal disclosure compliance

Applicants Should Have:
• Effective verbal and listening communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while keeping a professional demeanor
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Able to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
• A positive, professional, and “can do” attitude
• Flexible, adaptive, and eager
• Bachelor of Arts degree

Additional Desired Skills:
• Experience on Capitol Hill or the Administration
• Knowledge of/experience in politics
